Nawanshahr , 19 September (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler ): Today here, district leader of CPI ML (ND) Avtar Singh Tari and Tehsil President of Rural Labour Union (Punjab) Ashok Kalar and IFTU leaders Parmal Singh, Jaspal Bagowal, Nirmal Jandi while informing the press said that a fascist attack is being launched against people by BJP-Sangh’s Modi government. Against it, a massive rally is being organized on 26th September at Moga.
They said that centralization of power is being done by Modi government. By passing Dam Safety Act, dams, rivers and headworks are being brought under its jurisdiction. Punjab’s capital Chandigarh and Punjabi speaking areas are not being handed over to Punjab. By bringing 50 km area along international borders under BSF authority, one third of Punjab has been given to BSF. Offices of National Investigation Agency are being opened in states. By passing bills in Parliament, states’ rights over their own minerals are being robbed. Efforts are being made by Modi government to abolish the present Constitution and implement Manusmriti.
Jaspal Bagowal said that Modi government has abolished labour laws of workers and converted them into 4 codes and robbed workers’ rights. Ashok Kalar said that workers are not being given employment under MGNREGA, inflation has crushed workers, due to which workers are facing a humiliating life.
An appeal was made to reach in maximum numbers in Moga rally on 26th September against these fascist attacks of Modi government. On this occasion Avtar Singh Bharthala, Manohar Lal, Rashpal Singh, Sandeep Natha Nangal, Hari Tajowal etc. were present.
