Nawanshahr (Asian independent) (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler ): A grand and divine Shobha Yatra dedicated to the 532nd Prakash Purab of Dhan Dhan Lord Baba Shri Chand Ji Maharaj, the symbol of Brahm Gyan, was taken out with great devotion and enthusiasm at the famous religious place of Kathgarh area, Dera Baba Sarwan Dass Ji Bauri Sahib, Tap Asthan Bauri Sahib. This holy Shobha Yatra was jointly led by the Gaddi Nashin of Tap Asthan Baba Sarwan Dass Ji, Swami Dayal Dass Ji Maharaj and Rashtriya Sant Bhagwan Dass Ji Maharaj, Dera Nandpur Kesho. This Shobha Yatra started today at exactly 9 am from Dera Bauri Sahib with full band. The view of the Shobha Yatra was very divine. At the forefront was the beautiful palanquin of Lord Baba Shri Chand Ji, behind them women carrying Kalash Yatra, behind them a convoy of Sadhu Sant Mahapurush, followed by artists singing devotional songs and devotees riding in cars, vehicles, tractor trolleys. Beautiful tableaux of Lord Shankar and Radha Krishna made the atmosphere completely
blissful. Starting from Dera Bauri Sahib, this holy yatra first reached village Golu Majra where langar of tea and pakoras was organized by the Panchayat and residents. After that this yatra reached Kathgarh Market via village Malewal, Bagowal, Jagtewal, Bharthala, Kamalpur, Jalalpur, Chahlan. At Kathgarh Market, at Dera Kullan Wale Peer, the residents gave a rousing welcome to the Shobha Yatra and all Sadhu Sant Mahapurush were honoured. Here langar of Tikki Bhalle Chaat Cold Drink etc. continued uninterrupted. At villages wherever stalls of sweet milk, fruits, ice cream, bread pakoras, Jal Jeera were set up by villagers for the sangat. On reaching Kathgarh Market, Swami Dayal Dass Ji Maharaj, Sant Bhagwan Dass Maharaj Ji, Sant Uttam Dass Maharaj Ji, Sant Beant Dass Maharaj Ji were honoured by garlanding them. Among those who welcomed were former Sarpanch Dr. Joginder Pal Dutt, Subhash Anand, Jeevan Pal Joshi, Rajkumar Anand, Ram Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Ladi besides BJP District President Advocate Rajwinder Lucky, Congress District
President Ajay Mangupur, Shiromani Akali Dal Halqa Incharge Sandeep Honey Tonsa, former Chairman Satnam Jalalpur, Congress senior leader Vicky Chaudhary Kathgarh, Dr. Paramjit Kohli, Praveen Chaudhary, Kamal Anand besides Sant Kalyan Dass, Sant Dharam Dass, Sant Chetan Dass, Sant Gopal Dass, Sant Narayanpuri, Balwinder Deepsan, Sukhdev Khepar, Nambardar Jaspal Bhatia, Narinder Kohli, Raghav Bhardwaj etc. were present. After Kathgarh, this yatra passed through village Surapur, Rattewal, Kular, Mohan Majra, Nighi, Tundewal, Behrari and after serving dinner, concluded back at Bauri Sahib. It is worth mentioning that regarding this Prakash Purab, it was announced earlier that after the conclusion of the Shobha Yatra, a grand Bhandara will also be organized on 20th September, Sunday at Dera Baba Sarwan Dass Ji Jalalpur.
