Nawanshahr, (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler): A special gathering of Nawanshahr region of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Rupnagar-Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Zone was held at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Chandigarh Chowk Nawanshahr. On this occasion, Zonal Secretary Mandeep Singh Anandpuri specially attended and shared detailed information about the ideology, objectives of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle and various works being done by the organization in society. He elaborated on the objectives and impact on society of various activities including Moral Education Examination, ‘Ghar-Ghar Andar Dharamsal’, Personality Building Camp, Gurmat Kiyarian, Parivar Jodo Campaign, Kes Pyaar Campaign, Campaign against drugs, Gyan Anjan Summer Camp and Modikhana. During the gathering, Dr. Kashmir Singh Sujjowal, Retired DSP Didar Singh Gahun, Bir Kulwinder Singh Sudha Majra Kathavachak, Dalwinder Singh Noorpur Bedi, Simarpreet Singh Nawanshahr, Harsimranjit Singh Granthi Gurdwara Sabha Manewal also expressed their views and highly appreciated the works being done by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle. The speakers said that in present times, there is a great need for such constructive, Gurmat-based and social service works to save the younger generation from the trend of drifting away from drugs, social evils and moral values. The members present also assured full cooperation to take the organization’s work to a wider level and to connect more and more youth and families with these activities.
