Major action by CIA Staff Nawanshahr, 3 held with 30 bore pistol and foreign Jugana pistol, 7 accused named

Nawanshehar   (Asian independent)   (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler) – Under the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Shri Tushar Gupta IPS and under the guidance of SP (Investigation) Harinder Singh Maan, SP (PBI) Sarabjit Singh Bahia and DSP (Investigation) Jatinder Chauhan, the district police achieved major success during the ongoing campaign against anti-social elements, with the police party of CIA Staff Nawanshahr.On 05.10.2026, the police party apprehended three accused from village Ladian, Police Station Behram and recovered from their possession one 30 bore pistol, one foreign Jugana pistol 30 bore along with 10 live cartridges and one snatched Splendor motorcycle without number plate. In this connection, case No. 135 dated 05.10.2026 under sections 308(4), 351(2), 303(2), 48 BNS and 25(8) 25-54-1959 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Behram. The arrested accused have been identified as Karan Ram alias Alla son of Balwinder Ram resident of Sall Khurd Police Station Sadar Banga, Satnam Singh alias Sabi son of Kishan Singh resident of Nandalo Police Station Mehtiana presently resident of Rampur Police Station Sadar Banga and Tarlochan Singh alias Teji son of Kulwinder Singh resident of Ladian Police Station Behram. In this case, 4 other accused Gaurav Patial alias Lucky resident of Chandigarh presently residing in America, Baljit Singh alias Balla resident of Bharauli Police Station Behram presently residing in England, Karan Kumar resident of Farala and Gurdeep Singh resident of Garhpadhana Police Station Aur have also been named.Giving details of the recovery, the police said that a total recovery of one country-made pistol 32 bore along with 03 live cartridges in case No. 120 dated 28.09.2026 Police Station City Banga and one 30 bore pistol, one foreign Jugana pistol 30 bore, 10 live cartridges and stolen motorcycle in case No. 135 Police Station Behram has been made. Investigation has revealed that the main accused Karan Ram alias Alla was already wanted in several heinous cases. Five cases are registered against him under section 392 at Police Station Sadar Banga, under 379, 411, 483 at Police Station Behram, under Arms Act at Police Station Mahilpur and under NDPS Act at Police Station Mukandpur and Police Station City Banga. The police are producing all the accused in court and conducting further interrogation.
