Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kler): To get justice for Late Gulzar Singh Dirba, a large convoy of hundreds of Congress leaders and workers left Balachaur for Chandigarh today under the leadership of District President Ajay Mangupur. While talking to reporters at Bachuan Toll Plaza, District Congress President Ajay Mangupur said that as per the directions of Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot, a massive gathering has been organized today at Chandigarh. He said that the main objective of this gathering is to get justice for Late Gulzar Singh Dirba, who lost his life after being subjected to threats and humiliation for raising the issue of drugs before the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and its minister Harpal Singh Cheema. Ajay Mangupur said that the way a true and fearless person who raised voice against drugs was harassed, it is a matter of shame for the Punjab government. We demand that immediate action be taken against Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and others involved in this matter and justice be given to the victim’s family. On this occasion, hundreds of Congress leaders and workers left from Bachuan Toll Plaza, Balachaur for Chandigarh with their convoy of vehicles.
