– Massive Convoy Marks Overwhelming Presence Under the Leadership of Brigadier Raj Kumar, Expresses Unwavering Faith in the Party
Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler): At the historic and religious town of Baba Bakala in Punjab, immense enthusiasm was witnessed during the massive political conference organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on the holy festival of Rakhar Punia when a large convoy of the Gujjar community reached the pandal. Following the guidelines of the AAP high command and state leadership, the Gujjar community, under the able leadership of the Chairman of the Gujjar Welfare Board Punjab, Brigadier Raj Kumar, registered a massive and impressive presence in this conference, putting a stamp of approval on the party’s policies. This huge gathering has proven that the Gujjar community of Punjab stands like a rock with the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
On this occasion, a massive convoy of hundreds of vehicles from Balachaur and surrounding areas left for Baba Bakala under the leadership of Brigadier Raj Kumar. Great zeal and enthusiasm were seen among the youth, elders, and community leaders included in the convoy. Vehicles decorated with AAP flags and slogans echoing in favor of the party painted the entire atmosphere in political colors. Upon reaching the pandal, the senior leadership of the party warmly welcomed the convoy, which reflects the growing political stature of Brigadier Raj Kumar within the party and his strong hold on the community.
Speaking on the occasion of this record-breaking participation of his community, Chairman Brigadier Raj Kumar said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the only party that has held the hand of the Gujjar community and given them due political and social respect. He said that on this holy day of Rakhar Punia, along with paying obeisance at the sacred land of Baba Bakala, this huge gathering was organized by the community to strengthen the party. He informed that the Punjab government is taking historic decisions for the welfare of common people, farmers, laborers, and backward classes, due to which the Gujjar community is fully satisfied with the pro-people policies of the government and stands by it at every step.
This massive participation will also leave a deep impact on the politics of the coming times. In the political history of Punjab, the conferences at Baba Bakala have always been the main center for parties’ shows of strength.
