Nawanshahr (Asian independent) (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler): Under the leadership of the current Gaddi Nashin Bhagat Roshan Lal Ji Neeku, the annual ‘Bhandara’ on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami was organized with the cooperation of all the ‘Sangat’ (congregation) and villagers at Sri Satguru Samadhi Wala Darbar, village Boothgarh, like every year. During the Bhandara, a Havan Yagya and flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the Sangat at 10:00 AM. In the afternoon, various artists including Rampal Torowalia, Billu Mansewal, Sonu Mangupur, Rajan Malewal, Babbu Boothgarh, and Sunil Mahhipur enthralled the Sangat with devotional hymns during Baba Ji’s ‘Shabd-Chowki’. Guru ka Langar was served continuously for the Sangat on the occasion. Social service and political leaders from various parties who arrived on the occasion congratulated the Sangat on Sri Krishna Janmashtami. Gaddi Nashin Bhagat Roshan Lal Nikku honored senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashok Kataria, District Planning Board Chairman Sanjiv Chechi, former Chairman Satnam Jalalpur, Shiromani Akali Dal Balachaur constituency in-charge Sandeep Chaudhary Honey Toshan, Market Committee Balachaur Chairman Sethi Udhnowal, BJP District President Advocate Rajwinder Lucky, BJP leader Sandeep Bhatia, and former DSP Satnam Singh Rajumajra along with other political leaders and social workers by presenting them with shawls.
