Nawanshahr (Asian independent) (Jatinder Pal Singh Kaler ): Dedicated to Sri Gugga Jahar Peer Ji, the wrestling tournament of village Rail Majra concluded successfully, leaving behind unforgettable memories. In this wrestling tournament, invited wrestlers from renowned akharas across Punjab showcased their skills. The top-tier ‘Jhandi’ wrestling match was held between Jeet Simrat Doomchheri (17-year-old son of Rustom-e-Hind wrestler Parminder Doomchheri)
and Lovpreet of Akhara Bhundar, in which Jeet Simrat emerged victorious. The second-position ‘Patka’ match was won by Money Pathredi Jattan by defeating Spinder Mansa. In a special match, Sabar Magror defeated Ashu Doomchheri, earning great appreciation from the audience. Other matches were also worth watching. Rinku Pehalwan of Akhara Magror was specially honored. Among the political leaders, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) senior leader Gurpreet Gujjar Railmajra, Advocate Rajwinder Lucky (BJP District President), and Congress party leader President Surinder Chhinda Railmajra specially attended this Chhinj Mela.
