Maidstone’s Jhal Chilli has completed a remarkable hat-trick of awards in 2026 after being crowned Kent Takeaway of the Year at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2026.
(Asian independent) The award was announced on 12 October 2026 at the ARTA Grand Finale held at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Jhal Chilli, based at 61 Union Street, Maidstone, beat strong competition from across the county to take the regional title.
This latest success follows two earlier accolades this year:

• MaidFest Favourite Business
The three wins in the same year underline the consistency and quality of the family-run Bangladeshi and Indian takeaway.
