(Asian independent) Vaaroon Forever, the latest song from Mirzapur: The Movie, brings together Shreya Ghoshal and Romy. The track offers a fresh rendition of the franchise’s much-loved song Vaaroon, retaining the emotional soul of the original while giving it a new musical identity.
The song carries the familiar soulful quality associated with Vaaroon, while Shreya Ghoshal and Romy’s collaboration adds a fresh vocal dynamic to the track. Their voices complement the song’s Sufi-inspired sound, creating a rendition that feels both nostalgic and rooted in the essence of the original. The arrangement retains the essence that made Vaaroon so memorable while giving the track a renewed energy for Mirzapur: The Movie.
Originally released in 2020, Vaaroon became an integral part of the Mirzapur universe and went on to become a fan favourite for its soulful sound and lyrics. With Vaaroon Forever, Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios revisit the beloved track while giving it a fresh musical treatment, with Anand Bhaskar returning as composer and Ginny Diwan as lyricist, preserving the emotional core that audiences associate with the song.
The track also marks the first album release under Excel Music, further expanding the musical world of the franchise. It arrives as anticipation continues to build around the franchise’s big-screen debut following the launch of the trailer of Mirzapur: The Movie.
