SAYS, ADMINISTRATION DUTY BOUND TO ENSURE SMOOTH AND HASSLE FREE PROCUREMENT SEASON
SBS Nagar, (Asian independent) (jatinder pal singh kaler ) Deputy Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aulakh today conducted a comprehensive review of wheat procurement at various Dana Mandis in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Directing officials to ensure prompt lifting, and payment of procured wheat, he emphasized the acceleration in crop arrivals in the coming days. He also underscored the importance of ensuring a smooth procurement process for farmers without any hurdles. During his visit in Dana Mandi Behram, Katarian, the Deputy Commissioner also engaged with farmers and Aartiyas, actively soliciting their feedback and suggestions. He promptly issued directives to concerned officials based on their input, reaffirming his commitment to addressing their concerns. He further instructed officials to provide all necessary facilities to farmers to facilitate seamless procurement. It is noteworthy that the district administration has already made elaborate arrangements for smooth procurement season. The DC reiterated administration’s commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring the efficient management of agricultural produce.
