Robin excited to win player of match award

Football is the most popular game of the world today with professional players being sold for almost £1 billion and some of them earn more than half a million pounds per week whether they play the weekly match or are recovering from an injury or sometimes even selected to play by the first team by the football team manager.

Children start playing football at a very early age in this country and some of them start kicking about a football on their first birthday. After going to nursery, then if they are chosen they play for their primary, junior and or secondary school football teams.

Robinder Bains nick named Robin age 6 years studies at Launde Primary School, Oadby in Leicestershire and has been playing for Tudor Grange Football Team on Saturdays. Due to the FIFA World Cup being held is USA and Canada 2026, the football team wears the PORTUGAL shirt who are one of the qualifiers and for whom world famous football player Ronaldo plays for.

Robin has been playing for Tudor Grange Football team for about a year now and has won many awards from time to time. During a match against Wigston primary school on 3rd December Robin was very excited to win player of the match award in which his team won 2-1 and Robin scored with a brilliant shot in which the opposing goal keeper couldn’t even touch the ball.

After scoring Robin raised his right hand after scoring in celebration and all his team mates rushed to congratulate him and they all gave him high five’s. In the second half Robin passes the ball to one of his team mates who scored the winning goal.

Robin sports Arsenal football team who are at the top of the premier league in England and his favourite player is midfield dynamo Declan Rice. Robins father Surjit said ‘ I enjoy taking Robin to training and match days and this is the fourth award he has won this year. I am extremely proud of his achievements.’

Robin’s elder brother Dilan pointed out that Robin’s success in football is all due to him and Robin has learnt all the tricks from him playing in Uplands Park and garden.

Robin’s maternal grandfather Tarlochan Singh Virk, co-ordinater of Punjabi Listeners Club is also very proud of Robinder’s football achievements at such a young age and presented him with a Punjabi learning book, £5 cash and a medallion.
