(Samajweekly) The Punjabi Listeners Club are organising the IMLD Celebrations at Gurdwara Sri Guru HarKrishan Sahib Ji, 48 Kenilworth Drive, Oadby, Leicestershire LE2 5LG on Sunday 2nd March 2025 from 12.00 to 2.00 pm.
As well as the special guest speakers, poets, students from OADBY Punjabi School and Ramgarhia Punjabi School will be participating in the celebrations. We are very honoured to have received letters from Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace.
Prayers will e said for the full and speedy recovery to good health for His Majesty The King and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton who are both recovering from Cancer.
IMLD is a worldwide annual ceremony held 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
As part of the club’s 30th Anniversary a trip to the Houses of Parliament and a National Punjabi Language Seminar will be organised in the summer holidays.
