Seminar organized at Kathgarh grain market under Yudh Nashian Virudh, name of informer about smugglers will be kept secret – Call to panchayats to contribute more
Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler ) – Contribution of women is very necessary to eradicate drugs from roots. If Punjab is to be made drug-free, then first every village has to be made drug-free. These views were expressed by DSP Balachaur Hemant Malhotra. Under the campaign Yudh Nashian Virudh being run by Punjab Government, a special seminar was organized at Gram Sabha Hall Grain Market Kathgarh, in which mainly DSP Balachaur Hemant Malhotra participated. Along with him, SHO Kathgarh Inspector Kamal Taneja also participated. A large number of town residents participated in this seminar, in which the number of women was seen 
more than men. DSP Hemant Malhotra said that drug is now becoming a serious crime and drug is also a major reason for incidents like thefts. If drugs are to be eradicated from roots, then women can play the biggest role. Mother should keep a strict eye on her children, pay attention to children’s work and their company. SHO Kamal Taneja said that the name of the person giving information about drug smugglers will be kept completely secret. He appealed to the people that to make drug-free Punjab, it is necessary to first make drug-free village and panchayats should have maximum contribution in it. On this occasion Baljit Singh also threw light on the seriousness of drugs and achievements of the government regarding it. In this function, Panchayat Secretary Mukhtiar Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Harvinder Singh, Pankaj Chaudhary Sanjh Kendra in-charge besides Sai Kale Shah thanked everyone. On this occasion Sarpanch Kathgarh Rishu Bala, former Sarpanch Subhash Anand, Market President Raj Kumar Anand, Naveen Chaudhary Panch, Suresh Kumar Block Samiti Member, Jeet Ram Fauji, Sarpanch Raj Rani, Deepak Kalyan Panch, Seema Rani Panch, ASI Ram Shah, Dharminder Kumar former Panch, Dharampal, Shekhar Chaudhary including Panches, Sarpanches of both Panchayats and other dignitaries were present in large numbers. In the end, DSP Balachaur, SHO Kathgarh and BLO team were also honored with Siropas by Gram Panchayat Kathgarh.
