I am feeling proud to make it known that the “Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad’s Karnataka Chapter” has invited me as a guest of honour to their annual “Bahubhasik Kavi Sammelan 2026 (बहुभाषिक कवि सम्मेलन २०२६)” to be held in Bangalore on 21 Jun 2026.
They will be honouring me for bringing out three Rajbanshi books consecutively – ‘Rajbanshi Jagaran Pala (2022),’ ‘Rajbanshi Bhasha: Sangbidhaner Ashtam Schedule Bhulti Prasanga (2025)’ and ‘Phrases, Idioms and Riddles of Rajbanshi Language: Rajbanshi Chilkas and Solloks in English and Bengali Verses (2026)’.
The Sahitya Parishad is keen to know about the Rajbanshi Language and Literature and they have requested me to speak on the Rajbanshi language and literature and also to recite a Rajbanshi poem.
I deem it a great pleasure to speak and also to recite a poem there.
