Nawanshahr, (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler): It is a matter of great pride for the Health Department of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar that the Punjab Government, keeping in view the unique and dedicated services rendered in the field of healthcare, has honored two talented senior government doctors of the district with the prestigious State Award. Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, during a state-level state award ceremony organized at Municipal Bhawan, Sector-35A, Chandigarh on Thursday, honored Dr. Harpreet Singh, Deputy Medical Commissioner of the District Health Department, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, and Dr. Satwinderpal Singh, Senior Medical Officer of the District Hospital, Nawanshahr, by 
presenting them with a memento and appreciation letter for their special contribution to healthcare services, high professional standards, and public-friendly performance. This prestigious honor symbolizes the continuous hard work, spirit of service, professional efficiency, and commitment towards public health of both the doctors. With this achievement, not only has the prestige of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Health Department increased at the state level, but the entire medical community has also been inspired to provide excellent services. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Gurinderjit Singh extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Satwinderpal Singh, stating that this honor is an appreciation at the government level of their selfless service, dedication, and high professional competence. He mentioned that this achievement of both doctors is inspiring for young doctors and healthcare workers, and it will further strengthen the resolve to provide quality healthcare services to the people. The Civil Surgeon added that this honor belongs not only to both doctors but to the entire Health Department of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, which will further boost the morale of the officers and employees of the department.
