Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler): A high-level delegation of OBC Morcha Punjab under the leadership of senior BJP leader Vijay Sandrewal met the Chairperson of the Backward Class Commission, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Ji, and held detailed discussions on important issues related to the backward classes of Punjab. Giving information in this regard, senior BJP leader Vijay Sandrewal Balachaur said that during this meeting, the rights of the OBC community of Punjab, the problems faced by them and the issues related to their social and economic development were raised very seriously.He said that the delegation specially drew the attention of the Chairperson towards the problems of the backward areas of Balachaur. Detailed discussion was held on lack of development, employment, education, lack of basic facilities and other demands related to the OBC community in the rural and backward areas of Balachaur, Ropar, Nawanshahr and Garhshankar. Vijay Sandrewal said that the delegation appealed to the Chairperson to take the problems of these areas seriously and take initiative for their solution at a higher level. The meeting held on this occasion was held in a very cordial and positive atmosphere.He said that Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Ji has assured the delegation that continuous efforts will be made to raise every issue related to the OBC community on an appropriate platform and find a solution for it.
