Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler): Taking an important step to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level in the Balachaur assembly constituency, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) constituency in-charge Sandeep Kumar Honey Tounsa has officially announced the formation of a new 81-member core committee following directions and consultations with party president Sukhbir Singh Badal.Sharing information regarding this, Honey Tounsa stated that old, hardworking, loyal, and traditional Akali leaders have been specially included in this newly formed committee so that the party can benefit from their experience. He expressed confidence that with the coming into existence of this new team, Shiromani Akali Dal’s activities in the Balachaur constituency will receive a major boost and the party’s base will become even stronger. He appealed to all members of the new committee to work diligently day and night for the glory and welfare of the party. During the meeting, the leaders reviewed the preparations and discussed the strategy in detail for the special ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’ being organized in Balachaur on September 12. They informed that party president Sukhbir Singh Badal will specially address this impressive rally and encourage party workers. The organizers have vowed to make this rally historical and a massive success.
On the other hand, all the members included in the new core committee heartily thanked constituency in-charge Honey Tounsa and the party high command for entrusting them with this important responsibility. They assured that they will serve with full dedication, hard work, and honesty to strengthen the party, maintain mutual unity, and raise the voice of the people of the constituency.
