Lucknow    (Asian independent)   22/05/2025 In a meeting of National Working Committee of AIPF held today a resolution was passed condemning the extra judicial killing of 27 members including General Sectary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist). We do not subscribe to the political ideology of the Maoists’ party but the way the Central and the state government are annihilating the Maoists and innocent tribals, is condemnable.  it is a known fact that persons engaged in the service of the society had urged the Central government as well as the state government of Chhattisgarh to start dialogue with the Maoists. It is reported that Maoist leadership had also accepted the suggestion made by civil libertarians but Chhattisgarh government rejected the proposal and encirclement (gherao) and killing of the cadres of Maoists is going on unabated.

It may be mentioned that it is not an isolated event but part of a large fascist plan to arrest intellectuals, human rights activists and dissenters and book them in fabricated cases. Bhima Koregaon arrests and recent arrest of Prof. Ali khan are its glaring examples.  Many of them who were charged by this government have been found innocent. AIPF is of the view that this fascist trend developing in the country is not good for democracy and the nation.

AIPF joins with all political and social formations, who are calling to stop killing and start dialogue for the resolution of the problem.

On behalf of NWC of AIPF

S.R. Darapuri

National President, All India Peoples Front.
