Nakodar Mehatpur (Asian independent) (Harjinder Pal Chhabra) Journalist 9592282333 :- In the tenth class results announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education, 15 students of Ekam Public School Mehtpur scored above 90% marks and 41 students scored above 80% marks, bringing glory to their parents and the school. He said that the daughter of the school Sushmeet Kaur scored 96.2%, Sumit Arora 96.2%, Gurpreet Singh 95.8%, Hitesh Rana 95.6%, Rupinder Kaur 94.6%, Anshpreet Kaur 94.4%, Jasmine Kaur 94.0%, Arshdeep Kaur 93.2%, Milvir Kaur 93%, Manpreet Kaur 92.2%. Rajwinder Singh 91.4%, Jasleen Kaur 91.2%, Jaswinder Kaur 90.2%, Rukmanjit Kaur 90.2% and Ashneet Kaur got 89.6% marks and registered their name in merit. They further said that six children in Punjabi subject, including Gurpreet Singh, Jaswinder Kaur, Sumit Arora Anureet Kaur, Arshdeep Kaur and Arshdeep Kaur daughter of Surjit Singh scored 100. While 58 students secured more than 90 percent marks in Punjabi subject, the record was set by securing 100 marks. Similarly, in computer subject, five children including Gursajan Singh, Rupinder Kaur, Sushmeet, Gurpreet Singh and Mantej Singh scored 99 out of 100 while 23 children scored above 90 percent. School Principal Mrs. Amandeep Kaur said that Rupinder Kaur scored 99 marks in social education subject while 16 other students scored above 90 marks. He further said that Anshpreet Kaur scored 98 marks in English. Along with this, 14 other students scored more than 90 marks. Similarly, in mathematics, Sumit Arora scored 97 and 8 other children scored more than 90. Along with this, Sushmeet Kaur scored 97 and 7 other students scored more than 90 in science subject. On this occasion, the school management congratulated the children and their parents. Along with this, he congratulated his hardworking and experienced teachers.
