Jaipur, (Asian independent) Two more accused were arrested late on Thursday night in connection with the brutal murder of a tailor in Udaipur on Tuesday.
The arrested persons have been sent to 14-day police reamnd, Additional Director General (ATS), Ashok Rathore, said on Friday.
Rathore informed that the two accused have been arrested for racketeering and hatching a criminal conspiracy to kill Kanhaiya Lal, who was beheaded inside his tailoring shop on a crowded street in Udaipur for posting content supporting now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma over her controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammed.
Rathore said that the two prime accused, Mohammad Riyaz Attari and Ghaus Mohammad, were arrested on the day of the incident on June 28. They have been sent to the high-security prison in Ajmer.
