THE ASIAN INDEPENDENT, UK-

Mr V Ramaswamy was born and brought up in Kolkata. His grandfather migrated to Kolkata in 1930 from Madras and settled here. Ramaswamy was active in Housing Rights issues and worked against evictions. He is a voracious reader and also looked after the business of his father but he is deep into translation work now. He says, a translator is a bridge between two languages. Mr Ramswamy is also popularly known in his circles as Rama Sangye.
Listen to him about social political crisis of Bengal and he is hopeful that there would be a social revolution in Begnal one day with Dalits leading it.
