Manual scavenging is a curse to our society. Even during the Corona period, the condition of the Safai karamcharis is horrible. It is sad that despite tall claims of the governments, our society still treat the community badly and government schemes rarely reach them. Dheeraj Kumar is a community activist working in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He actively fought for the community rights and worked for some really inspiring social changes there. Ready to serve the community 24X7, Dheeraj has a lot to share with us. Listen to his voice and understand the issues of the community. There may be some glitches in the video due to connectivity issues but I am sure you will get a lot understanding of the issues that Swachchkar community face and how its youth feel.
