Madrid,   Spanish MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa (Honda) said on Tuesday that he has a lot of love for the track at the upcoming Czech Republic Grand Prix, held on the Masaryk Circuit in the city of Brno.

The three-time world champion, who is set to retire at the end of the 2018 season, said he is looking to clock better times during his last trip to the Czech GP, set to take place August 5, reports Efe.

“Now we go to Brno, which is one of my favorite tracks on the calendar, so we hope to be a little faster there,” Pedrosa, 32, said.

“In order to do that, we must improve the feeling and setup of the bike, because so far we have been facing some problems everywhere,” he admitted.

“We mainly need to improve in cornering, because at the moment I cannot turn the bike fast enough, especially mid-corner and out of the corners,” he said.

Pedrosa has won the Czech GP two times, in 2012 and 2014, and has finished on the podium there seven times.

Currently 12th in the 2018 MotoGP standings, Pedrosa finished eighth at the German GP on July 15.
