Srinagar, (Asian independent) The State Investigation Agency in Jammu and Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against four associates of proscribed terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), officials said on Monday.

“As per details, a case under the relevant sections of law was lodged in Srinagar earlier this year following some credible inputs regarding the presence of an active module of Jaish in South Kashmir for strengthening the striking strength of the outfit by motivating youth to join the terrorist ranks,” the police said.

Pertinently, terrorist handlers in Pakistan used the cyber space for instigating and motivating Kashmiri youth to join terrorist ranks and raise funds locally for running terrorist modules.

“Among the handlers in Pakistan, one has been identified who is currently in Jhelum in Pakistan Punjab. Action to expose him, and submit evidence to international legal fora, would follow,” the police said.

“The handlers had motivated the four accused youth to act as sub-agents to arrange logistics for transportation of arms, ammunition and other support materials from one place to another for furtherance of terrorist designs for the purpose of sabotage and carrying out attacks on security forces to meet the objective of secession of the UT of J&K from the Union of India,” the police said.
