New Delhi, On the last day of campaigning in the national capital, North East Delhi’s BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari held a massive road show in his constituency along with Haryanvi folk singer Sapna Chaudhary and Bhojpuri actor-singer Khesari Lal.
Tiwari, who is re-contesting from this Lok Sabha seat, kicked-off his road show from Panchwa Pusta area of his constituency along with Haryana Industries Minister Vipul Goyal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sudhanshu Mittal, Chaudhary and Yadav.
Hundreds of BJP workers took part in the road show, raising slogans like “Phir ek bar Modi sarkar” (Modi, once more), “Modi hai to mumkin hai” (Modi makes it possible).
Tiwari got off his vehicle at several places to interact with the residents. Many people could be seen gathered on rooftops and balconies to get a glimpse of the Bhojpuri star.
Tiwari is pitted against former Chief Minister and Congress leader Sheila Dikshit and the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Dilip Pandey.
Voting in all the seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital is scheduled for the sixth phase on May 12. The BJP had won all seven seats in the 2014 general elections.
