Moscow, The Russian Strategic Missile Forces has successfully test-fired Topol intercontinental ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar firing range in south Russia’s Astrakhan region, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
The ministry on Thursday said the warhead for training successfully hit the target at the Sary-Shagan test site in Kazakhstan, Xinhua reported.
The last launch of the Topol missile was carried out from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in northwest Russia’s Arkhangelsk region in September this year.
