New York hit by massive power outage

NEW YORK, July 13, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Photo taken on July 12, 2019 shows the Manhattanhenge in Manhattan, New York, the United States. The Manhattanhenge refers to the twice-a-year circumstance during which the setting sun aligns precisely with the east-west streets of the New York City borough of Manhattan.

New York,  A large power outage hit much of Manhattan’s midtown and part of upper west side on Saturday evening.

According to power service company Con Edison, more than 44,000 people were affected by the outage, the Xinhua news agency reported.
