Srinagar, (Asian independent) A total of 453 more cases of coronavirus were detected in Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday while 10 patients in the Union Territory succumbed due to the dreaded virus.

A statement issued by the Information and Public Relations Department said of the new cases, 101 were in the Jammu division and 352 in the Kashmir division.

So far, 15,711 people have been infected with Covid-19 in J&K, out of which 8,607 have completely recovered.

The total number of active cases is 6,831, out of which 1,341 are in the Jammu division and 5,490 in the Kashmir division.
