On the day of Buddha Purnima (Vaishakh) in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa, our Sauna Jaydevbapa has passed away with a permanent farewell from among us.

Saint Shiromani social reformer Jaydevbapa, also known as Jaydevbapa, is currently on a trip to Africa to preach the Dhamma. Shaileshbhai Duttani, a native of Porbandar in Nairobi, Africa, passed away yesterday on the day of Buddha Purnima. Jaydevbapa, who has a community of millions of followers, gave us all a tweak and left.

Bawa Pipardi was the original village of Lodhika taluka. Jaydevbapa’s original name was Jethabhai. Even the names of Dalits at that time were two-letter in a society full of chaos. This is what Jaydevbapa used to say especially in every Satsang Sabha. Jaydevbapa’s name was also included in two letters. But who knew that the name of these two characters would dedicate his life in the name of Jaydevbapa in the future by spreading the light of Ambedkar ideology all over Sorath Dhara to eradicate Kurivajo and superstition in the whole of Gujarat and especially in Saurashtra. The smoke of social change that Jaydevbapa then spread laid the foundation of Ambedkarite ideology in Saurashtra.

He was a member of the Dalit community. His father was filling Baramati. In the following years, Jaydevbapa started doing Bhajan Satsang. But according to the customs of the society at that time, Garpanthi Nat had the right to pay Baramati but not the right to sing Bhajans. Yet Jaydevbapa sang bhajans. Jaydevbapa did not like such an unjust practice. Singing hymns against so-called false customs. At that time, ignoring the society was considered as a very big event, why should Bhajan Satsang go against the rules of the society! Jaydevbapato was a different creature. A different smoke was burning in her rudia. His mind was filled with the sound of hymns. In the end, according to the circumstances, Jaydevbapa said goodbye to his homeland forever. Mama Hamirbhai Gangabhai Parmar moved to Vijapur village near Junagadh to live there forever. This Hamirbhai was a relative of Mr. Amrutbhai Makwana of Dena Bank. Amrutbhai Makwana also went on a tour of Africa with Jaydevbapa. Had just returned a few days earlier.

Jaydevbapa’s mother’s name was in Jethi. Father’s name was Bijalbhai. The surname was beautiful. The original name was Jethabhai.

Faye stayed at home in Sitana. When I was studying 8th standard, Jaydevbapa was seen for the first time. Shining wide forehead. Proud slow move. Dressed in a milky white robe. Awesome brightness. I saw the devotee community walking slowly from the plot area towards the old vas. Her mesmerizing voice had tremendous power. After laying hands on the box / harmonium in the satsang sabha, one bhajan after another was lit till dawn. Releasing a single link of the hymn explaining the mystery of life, in simple rustic language, by giving examples. Ohm Soham’s arrangement was such that all doubts of the mind were removed by morning. There were millions of devotees all over Gujarat. People from every community were his disciples. Mer, Ahir, Bharwad, Rabari, Patel and Lohan etc. were included. Jaydevbapa has written more than 500 hymns.
His hymns;
There is a hymn called “Jeevan Mukta Prakash and Jaydev Prakash”.
Before him was Guru Prabhasnath.

That Guru met me Prabhatnath,
Gave me the knowledge of the four letters

The second Guru was Saint Shiromani Ugarambapa of Bandra.

The second Guru found me Ugaram,
Who gave me the knowledge of six letters

Then Jaydevbapa says,
Mher thai walji ramni ke magan ram raval ko bheti karaviyo ne ambaji jalotrama guru dharan kariya
Walji Ramji was the contractor of paddy paddhari.

I want to talk about Ambedkarite ideology now. The mysterious stories of Satsang Bhajan never seemed more entertaining to the common people. The only tool available at that time was bhajan, believing that a bored and monotonous life should be enjoyed. People were chanting all night long. Inside the bhajan was the curiosity.
