Nagpur- A thought-provoking and inspiring meeting took place on 30 April 2025, at Nagpur with Mr. Sohan Lal Gindha, founder of the Bodhisatva Babasaheb Ambedkar Educational Society (BBAES), Jalandhar. Mr. Sohan Lal Gindha , who currently resides in the UK, shared his incredible journey of struggle, perseverance, and commitment to education. Despite coming from a modest social and economic background, he emphasized that the best way to give back to society is through starting schools that provide inclusive, value-based education, supported through public donations.

Joining the meeting were distinguished academicians and professionals:
Prof. N.S. Gajbhiye , Retired Professor of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur, and Prof. Suresh Umre, Faculty, Department of Applied Chemistry, VNIT,

Dr. Onkar Wankhede, Retired Curator, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
Prof. Anil Mokhade, Faculty, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, VNIT.
The discussion revolved around grassroots educational empowerment and how academic and professional expertise can directly contribute to strengthening schools, particularly those inspired by the legacy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Each participant shared their valuable experiences in the education sector and offered insights on how best practices and innovations in school education and pedagogy can be meaningfully adapted at the school level.

Leadership development was also highlighted as a crucial aspect for the effective and sustainable management of schools.
The dialogue reinforced a shared commitment: Education is not just a tool for individual progress, but a powerful means for collective social upliftment. Drawing inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of equality, knowledge, and justice, the participants emphasized the importance of sustained academic engagement with institutions working at the grassroots.
