On November 9th 2025, FHSM conducted an eye screening camp at Panaikulam, Ramnad District, Tamilnadu State. A total of 199 individuals were screened, of whom 66 received reading glasses and 9 were provided with prescription spectacles. This marks the eye screening camp conducted by FHSM in Tamilnadu as part of our ongoing health initiative for the financial year 2025–2026.
Since 2013, FHSM has been organizing eye camps in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal. So far more than 231 camps were conducted in which 4617 were supported with free cataract surgeries, 20632 were provided with free spectacles, and a total of 84,535 beneficiaries were screened. For this financial year, we will be implementing eye camps in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
