Babasaheb Ambedkar Writing and Speeches-BAWS volumes donated to the Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio

The Ambedkar Association of North America (AANA) US US-based nonprofit Organization donated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Writings and Speeches (BAWS) volumes to the Franklin University, 201 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215 on September 13th 2024. A total of 18 Volumes were donated to this University Library. Today was a historical day for the AANA and Ambedkarite communities who are based in the United States of America and Canada.
Navakiran Dandu completed Masters from Franklin University was instrumental in the process of making donation by fulfilling technical and official formalities and to make an entry in the Franklin University Library. Navakiran Dandu has expressed his sincere gratitude to the faculties who received the books and to Ambedkar Association of North America for donating all the printed Writings and Speeches of our hero and ideal Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The BAWS books will be available for all students to access in their research which is needed than ever before in fields of Humanities, Religious Studies, Economics and in relevant field of study. As we all know Babasaheb Ambedkar has written extensively on various subjects be it Politics, World Religions, Judiciary, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Theology, Human Psychology, Social Justice, Social Reforms, Pedagogies, and also the Indian Constitution.
Franklin University is a private University has a history of serving older adult students those spans more than a hundred years. It was founded in 1902 and the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Today, Franklin University offers a broad range of undergraduate majors and graduate programs. Its enrollment includes more than 8000 total students which includes 300 international students from more than 72 countries. More than 135 community colleges across the U.S. have partnered with Franklin University to ease the way for community college students to transfer the maximum number of community college credits toward completing a bachelor’s degree at Franklin. Through continued efforts in inclusion and belonging, Franklin University has built a community comprising many backgrounds, cultures, races, identities, life experiences, perspectives, beliefs, and values.
It’s a matter of joy for the entire Ambedkarite community that upcoming and future generations of scholars of the University of Franklin University will benefit by accessing the writings of such an ocean of wisdom.

Ambedkar Association of North America was formed in 2008 on the guided principle of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s lifelong work and vision to uplift the downtrodden through education.
