Patna (Asian independent) A day after the explosion at a house in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district, the state police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad on Sunday reached the spot to investigate the matter, officials said.
Reaching the house located in Husainganj locality in Babarpur police station area, the ATS sleuths questioned the residents of adjoining to learn about the background of the affected family.
A powerful bomb exploded in the house of Abdul Gani on Saturday evening claiming the life of one teenager and left three others critically injured.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Taushif (17), a resident of Qurashi locality in Babarganj police station area.
Besides him, his mother Sultana Khatoon, his uncle Abdul Mannan and one more person were also injured in this incident. Following the incident, a team of Bhagalpur police headed by DSP, City Ajay Kumar Chaudhary reacted to the spot on Saturday evening and investigated the incident.
The district police also used a dog squad and bomb squad at the place. A FSL team also reached the spot and collected the samples at the place to investigate the incident.
