The founder of the Samatha School of Buddhist Meditation, Venerable Nai Boonman (93), graced the West London Buddhist Vihara with his visit yesterday, 23/08/25, at noon. This marked his seventh visit since 2011. Harbans Virdee, President of Buddha Association presented Ven. Boonman with a bouquet of roses, and all the devotees present paid their respects.
James Peel, Samatha Teacher welcome the founder and requested to conduct the prayer and bless the gathering. Shalakha lead the chantting of Metta Sutta, followed by Bhojjanga chantting by Samatha Teacher, Marjorie.
A delicious feast, arranged by volunteers, was enjoyed by everyone. This was followed by a special meditation session conducted by Ven. Boonman assisted James Peel, Samatha Teacher. The spiritual gathering concluded with a question-and-answer session and a cup of warm tea.

Ven. Boonman promised to visit again next year.
