New Delhi,  All the parties comprising the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) met here on Monday, a day ahead of Parliament’s winter session, to thrash out a strategy for both Houses.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah were also present at the meeting besides leaders from all the ally parties.

Speaking to reporters after the meet, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that all the member-parties of the NDA discussed how to make the session more productive.

“We all agreed to work together and in consonance as also with the cooperation of the opposition to get as much legislative business done as possible in the public interest,” he said.

On Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RSLP) breaking away from the NDA, Tomar said no formal communication had been received regarding this and asserted that the NDA was united.

The opposition has already listed out major issues on which it will try to corner the government.
