New Delhi, The owner of a rubber factory, where a massive fire broke out on Tuesday and was only doused on Wednesday with the help of the Indian Air Force, was arrested for running it without required permission, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Romil Baaniya said that soon after the fire at the factory warehouse was doused, factory’s owner Sanjay Saini was arrested.
Saini didn’t take the required permission from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and the factory didn’t have any fire safety equipment installed, he added.
