Nawanshahr, (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler) : Regarding the sensational revelations of vote theft, a major protest was held today by the Congress Party against the BJP government in District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Under the leadership of District President Ajay Mangupur and in the special presence of Punjab President Seva Dal Mr. Subhash Bhargav, Congress workers took out a strong protest march in front of the DC office Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. On this occasion, the entire team of District Congress Committee Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar submitted a memorandum in the name of the President of India through Deputy Commissioner Nawanshahr, in which immediate arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Gyanesh Kumar was demanded. After submitting the memorandum, Congress workers expressed their anger by burning the effigy of BJP government and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. District President Ajay Mangupur said that BJP government has come to power by stealing votes and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has fully supported BJP government in this vote theft. He alleged that BJP government is working to expand its party in the country by illegally preparing votes, which is very dangerous for democracy. Ajay Mangupur said that Congress Party will not remain silent now. The party will go door-to-door to make people aware about the vote theft policies of BJP government and will ensure punishment for the culprits. During the protest march taken out from Congress office to Deputy Commissioner office, strong slogans were also raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gyanesh Kumar.
