Nawanshehar (Asian independent) (Jatinderpal Singh Kaler ) Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab celebrated National Sports Day o by engaging students and youth in the Khelo India Dialogue, featuring the live telecast of the interaction of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, with the youth. On this inspiring occasion, Coordinator Rattan Kaur said that the students took a pledge to stay away from every form of drug abuse and dedicate at least one hour every day to physical activity. She said that such initiatives would contribute towards building a fit, healthy and drug-free India.The programme aimed to inspire students to adopt a healthy lifestyle, remain physically active and understand the importance of sports in promoting physical and mental well-being. Vice Chancellor Dr. A. S. Chawla appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the University’s NSS volunteers and encouraged students to actively participate in sports and fitness-related activities. The university reiterated its commitment to empowering youth, promoting fitness and contributing towards the vision of a Healthy, Strong and Viksit Bharat
