Jalandhar (Asian independent) The executive committee meeting of Ambedkar Mission Society (Regd.) Punjab was held at Ambedkar Bhawan under the chairmanship of the Society’s President Professor Balbir Ji. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided to conduct a seminar on the current economy of India. Top economists will participate in this seminar. The seminar will be held on August 9 (Sunday) at 11.00 a.m. at the historical place Ambedkar Bhawan, Dr. Ambedkar Marg, Jalandhar. Intelligent people should attend and take advantage of this seminar. The gap between poverty and wealth is increasing. More than 96 thousand government schools have been closed under the rule of the current central government. Education and health are becoming expensive, which is out of reach of the common poor person. The Society strongly condemned the atrocities committed by the Delhi Police on the students who were peacefully protesting for their rights at Jantar Mantar, Delhi and also strongly condemned the extremely shameful brutality of the Punjab Police beating up the sanitation workers who were peacefully protesting for their rights in Barnala city of Punjab. Ambedkar Mission Society demands that the police culprits of both the above incidents be given strict punishment. On this occasion, Dr. G. C. Kaul, Baldev Raj Bhardwaj, Parminder Singh Khutan, Charan Das Sandhu, Malkit Singh, Dr. Mahendra Sandhu, Suraj Virdi, Tilak Raj, Pichori Lal Sandhu, Jagdish Kumar Dalia, Kamal Kumar, Manjit Singh, Jaswinder Wariana, Dr. Kulwant Singh, Om Prakash and Nirmal Binji were present.
