The centenary birth celebration of Bhante Sangharakshita was held on 27.08.2025 at Bodhi Vihar, Trichy, organized by the members of the Triratna Buddhist Community of Tamil Nadu.
The program was led by TBM Mitras such as Dhammamitra Kaliyaperumal, who also led the Metta Bhavana meditation. Revathi rendered the Trisarana Panchsheel, followed by chanting and offerings to The Buddha.
A talk on the life and contributions of Bhante Sangharakshita was delivered by Dhammamitra Pavithra, highlighting his vision and enduring legacy. The event concluded with the Dhammapalan Gatha and a communal meal, marking a successful and meaningful celebration.
