Geopolitics
Birmingham Council’s attack on British flags is not isolated. Tower Hamlets Council in London has done exactly the same thing, revealing a council campaign to remove British flag identity while celebrating foreign nations. Interesting to note they are both Labour Councils.
The evidence is damning:
Birmingham’s Actions:
(I) Lit up the Library in Pakistani colours for Pakistan’s independence day
(II) Lit up the same building in Indian colours for India’s independence day
(III) Ordered immediate removal of British flags from lamp posts (after public outcry they have left some)
(IV) Claimed British flags were “unsafe”
(V) Left Palestinian flags flying for months without safety concerns (some reports say 18 months).
Tower Hamlets’ Identical Betrayal:
(I) Allowed Palestinian flags on council property for months
(II) Only removed them after Jewish families complained of intimidation
(III) Immediately removed down British flags without waiting for complaints
(IV) Applied completely different standards to British versus foreign symbols
This seems to be a deliberate strategy by two Labour councils to reduce the pride of British people in their own country.
The Safety Lie Exposed
Both councils used identical excuses about “safety concerns” to justify removing only British flags:
(I) Palestinian flags stayed up for months with no safety incidents
(II) No accidents have ever been caused by flags on lamp posts
(III) If flags were dangerous, they would remove ALL flags, not just British ones
(IV)They fear violent reactions to removing certain foreign flags
(V) They know British people won’t cause public disorder, so they discriminate against British
Failed Services, Wrong Priorities
The most disgusting aspect is that this happens while Birmingham council fail at basic services:
Birmingham’s Collapse
(I) Rubbish collection completely broken down
(II) Rats “as big as cats” in streets full of rotting garbage
(III) Council effectively bankrupt, needing hundreds of millions in emergency funding
(Iv) But they had money for Pakistani and Indian light shows
Instead of fixing bins, they focus on cultural politics. Instead of serving British taxpayers, they pander to minority voting blocs. This shows their real priorities.
Why This is Happening
(I) Electoral Strategy
These councils calculate that minority groups vote based on symbolic gestures while assuming British voters have nowhere else to go.
(II) Cultural Ideology
Many leaders genuinely believe British identity is problematic while viewing foreign celebrations as virtuous.
(III) Fear of Confrontation
They know certain groups might react aggressively to symbol removal while British people will only complain.
(III) British Resistance Grows
British people are fighting back:
(I) Birmingham residents paint St George crosses on roundabouts after councils remove flags
((II)Twelve Reform UK councils created a “patriotic flag pact” to protect British flags
(III)Clear political choice emerges: Labour councils that remove British flags versus Reform councils that defend it
The Real Stakes
This isn’t about flags – it’s about British people’s right to maintain their identity in their own country. If councils can suppress British symbols while promoting foreign ones, what comes next?
What Must Be Done
Immediate Actions
(I) Vote out councils that remove British flags while tolerating foreign ones
(II) Support candidates who commit to protecting British symbols
Conclusion
Birmingham and Tower Hamlets councils need to reconsider the decision to move the flags. This has created a unnecessary controversy.
The councils may remove down British flags today, but British voters can tear down these councils tomorrow.
Those who attack it must face democratic consequences.
