Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has shattered global box office records, delivering the biggest worldwide opening weekend collections for an Indian film. With a phenomenal $92.5 million debut worldwide, it became the highest-earning Indian film release of the weekend worldwide. In just four days, the film entered the prestigious 500 crore club, making it the ninth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa 2’s record-breaking weekend has achieved staggering numbers across international markets.
In the UK, the film grossed a staggering £1,118,264, while in the UAE and GCC, it amassed an impressive $37,00,000USD. The film set a new benchmark in Australia, earning $2,316,337 AUD, marking the highest-ever weekend for an Indian film in the country. New Zealand and Fiji contributed $411,580 NZD, while Singapore and Malaysia added $384,000 SGD and $1,542,000 MYR, respectively. In Germany, Pushpa 2 collected €200,470, and the Rest of the World (ROW) accounted for an additional $750,000 USD.
Domestically, Pushpa 2 achieved unprecedented success, becoming the first Indian film to gross over Rs 100 crore nett in both Hindi and Telugu within its opening weekend. Telugu occupancy rates reached a staggering 85 percent, while Hindi audiences drove a strong 60 percent occupancy, contributing to the film’s dominance across all demographics and languages.
