(Asian Independent)- Liam Byrne MP and Labour’s Shadow Mayor for the West Midlands has received an Astra Zeneca Covid jab. He was among the several hundred people who attended the vaccination centre in the stand at the Warwickshire County Cricket ground.
Byrne said:
“I was very grateful to Nurse Sheila Rooney who carefully explained what would happen and delivered it completely pain free.
“After a ten minute wait I was free to go and have not had any side effects.
“I know some people are afraid of the process but I can assure them that everything is done to make us comfortable. It is essential that everyone who is eligible should have the vaccine. It not only protects each one of us, but also those around us.
