New Delhi,  The BJP appeared delighted as the JD-U booted out Prashant Kishor and Pavan Verma on Wednesday. This comes days before a joint show of strength between Nitish Kumar and Amit Shah in Delhi.

Speaking to IANS, BJP’s Amit Malviya said, “What happened to Pavan Verma and Prashant Kishor is an internal matter of the JD-U. However, it proves all their utterances so far did not have the sanction of JD-U top brass. All NDA allies are on the same page when it comes to national issues.”

Furthering the bond, on February 2, the Bihar Chief Minister and the Union Home Minister will be sharing the stage in Delhi. At noon that day, both will hold a joint rally in Delhi’s Burari.

The same day, at 4p.m., Kumar will share the stage with BJP President JP Nadda. The JD-U and the BJP are fighting the Delhi poll together. BJP has allocated two seats to its Bihar ally.

Earlier, Verma questioned this alliance by writing a letter to him and posting it on his twitter timeline which angered the Bihar CM. Verma sought ‘moral clarity’ from Kumar citing his support for the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act.

Prashant Kishor has been vocal against both CAA and nationwide NRC. On Tuesday, the JD-U held a meeting without him and later Kumar said anyone is free to leave the party following which Kishor called it a “great fall” for the JD-U chief.
