Jammu, (Asian independent) Thirty-seven more people tested Covid-19 positive in J&K on Wednesday, raising the number of coronavirus patients to 971. One person died of Covid-19, taking the toll to 11.

The death was reported from the Jammu division.

Of the 37 new cases, seven belonged to the Jammu division, and 30 to the Kashmir division, said the information and public relations department. 466 people have recovered.

The number of active cases in J&K is now 494. Of this, 38 are in the Jammu division, and 456 in the Kashmir division.
