198 more Covid-19 cases, four fresh deaths in J&K

Jammu, (Asian independent) As many as 198 people tested positive for coronavirus in Jammu & Kashmir on Monday, taking the total number of Covid-19 patients in the Union Territory to 4,285.

A statement issued by the Information and Public Relations Department said of the new cases, 33 were from the Jammu division and 165 from the Kashmir division.

Four patients infected by the dreaded virus succumbed on Monday, taking the number of people killed by the pandemic in J&K to 45.

So far, 1,324 patients have completely recovered in J&K.

The number of active cases is now 2,916 out of which 705 are in the Jammu division and 2,211 are in the Kashmir division.
